Garlic Butter Prawns
Treat yourself! Why not by indulge in this simply succulent recipe? Bursting with flavour, Garlic Butter Prawns is comfort food at its finest
Ingredients
- 200g of our Raw Headless Shell-On prawns
- 6 slices from a Baguette
- 8 tbsp of butter
- 5 cloves of garlic, crushed.
- 1.5 lemon, juiced
- 1/4 cup of chicken stock
- 1 small bunch of parsley, chopped finely
- 1 tbsp Salt and Pepper
Cooking
1. Using a medium heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter in a frying pan until a light sizzle.
2. Once slightly sizzling, add the 200g of prawns, the salt and pepper and stir until those tiger stripes show through the shell.
3. When fully cooked, remove from pan and leave to the side to rest.
4. Using the same pan, add in the garlic to the left-over ‘sauce’, and continue to stir until fragrant.
5. Pour in the chicken stock and lemon juice and stir.
6. Once well mixed, add the remainder 5 tbsps of butter and keep stirring.
7. Then add a fistful of the chopped parsley and stir well until everything is well mixed.
8. Grab the resting cooked prawns and add them to the mixture and gently stir.
9. Once mixed, you are ready to serve!
Assembling & Plating
1. Place the prawns in a bowl
2. Toast the baguette slices and serve alongside the prawns
3. Add a wedge of lemon to squeeze over
4. Enjoy your garlic butter prawns!
